If you feel you should begin the romantic involvement POV in section 8, I say go ahead and put it there. I love the structure of the MP, but I also think you should trust your own instincts in applying the MP plotting guidelines. You can also try it both ways and see which structure feels better to you in the overall flow of the plot. I hope that helps. Thanks for your comment and for visiting. I am plotting a novel now, but I am confused about one thing. I want my romantic involvement to come into the novel around section sheet 8, which means he wouldn't be Viewpoint character #1. Is that a problem that I am varying a little from the plan? It just makes a greater impact having him come in later, even though the MP says it should be at section sheet 6 as View point character 1.
